Alfredo Carretero Jr. , 65, of Lakeport, Lake County, California, United States was 12 years younger than Noelle Kinzie Russo of Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, California. He is accused of murdering her. Russo was last seen alive on June 24, 1983. Sonoma County Sheriff's Office deputies found her dead near Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park on June 27, 1983. According to investigators, Russo had been beaten to death. She was 37. Carretero was one of the original persons of interest but no suspect was identified until the case went cold.
