February is the month of love, and with all this love going on we're sure to see an influx of ‘accidental' kittens fairly soon! While you may think that's a good thing, as all kittens are adorable, aren't they? But after the third or fourth litter of kittens coming through the door, the charm wears off. Female cats actually start coming into heat in January and cats as young as 5 months old can have their first heat. They are way too young to have kittens, as they are still babies themselves, but the call of nature is strong and they don't really have a choice.
