The City of Rohnert Park said it is putting new security measures in place to safeguard cash after determining approximately $20,000 is missing from city coffers from a senior center donation fund. City Manager Marcela Piedra said an investigation has begun to determine how the funds were taken from a city hall safe as well as instituting new security measures. 'The city is taking corrective actions with new security procedures to ensure additional safeguards for the handling of cash transactions,' Piedra said.
